Olivia H. White, Owner & President
Olivia White is an architectural historian and preservationist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She brings a thoughtful and forward-looking approach to historic preservation, grounded in the belief that it can create meaningful and lasting impact in our communities. She brings eight years of experience in preserving historic resources across the U.S. Southwest, including California, Nevada, and Arizona.
Olivia’s interests in preservation include the preservation of modern and postmodern architecture and the protection of unique and underrepresented places—including those connected to women’s history and LGBTQ+ history. She is especially interested in how preservation can reflect a broader, more inclusive narrative of our nation’s past.
For Olivia, the buildings and spaces we choose to preserve say as much about our present values as they do about our past. She views historic architecture as a tangible reminder of where we've been and a hopeful vision of where we can go. Her practice is rooted in the belief that preservation must evolve to reflect the full diversity of American history, and that doing so requires us to reexamine how we define significance and value in the built environment.
Olivia holds an M.A. in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University and a B.A. in American Studies from Saint Louis University. She is a member of the Nevada Preservation Foundation’s Programming Committee, as well as a volunteer tour guide.
